COM-102-402 is a
Telecourse which will be
held at
Moraine Valley Education Center at Blue
Island.
Students will be working primarily on their own, but will meet as a class with
the instructor 5 times during the semester. Course includes twenty-four, 30 minute
thought provoking and entertaining tapes that are supplemented with a study
guide. Videotapes
available in the Moraine Valley library and local libraries. Papers will
have to be dropped off in class, dropped off in B244, e-mailed, faxed or mailed to your
instructor. E-mail instructor for further information.
Viewing Tapes:
You will be required to view twenty-three tapes from the Literary Visions
series. Four sets of videotapes are located in the Moraine Valley Community
College LRC, and others are located at local public libraries: Alsip-Merrionette
Park Public Library, Blue Island Public Library, Bridgeview Public Library,
Evergreen Park Public Library, Justice Public Library, Orland Park Public
Library, and Prairie Trail Public Library. Tapes may also be rented for the
semester and obtained from RMI Media Productions at
www.rmimedia.com
or at 1-800-745-5480. The approximate cost for rental is $50.00 for the set.
