Our
programs
Moraine Valley Community College offers programs to meet the needs of
students whose lives do not fit into the regular class schedules on which
most colleges operate. The programs allow you to earn a college degree
through nontraditional methods. Credit courses offered through
Alternative Learning are convenient, have flexible hours, and allow you to
work at your own pace.

Alternative Learning courses follow
identical course outlines and cover the same material as traditional
classes. Examinations and papers are required. The courses are not more
difficult than regularly scheduled classes, only the mode of instruction
varies. You will have the advantage and satisfaction of shaping your own
course of study to match your interests and needs, while still having
access to Moraine Valley's comprehensive resources and outstanding
faculty.

As a comprehensive community college,
Moraine Valley is dedicated to helping adults achieve their academic
