Full-time Instruction
Moraine Valley's IELP classes are held five days a week, with 18 hours of classroom instruction weekly. In addition to classroom instruction, the college maintains a tutoring center. IELP students can use the tutors to help them with their English skills. Students are introduced to contemporary educational experience to enable effective communication in English.

Extra Help, Quality Staff
Moraine Valley's IELP instructors are friendly, caring people who want to help students learn English. They are experienced teachers who use proven techniques to help students succeed. In addition, students have access to all of the college's outstanding resources, including international student advisors who offer support and educational advising. A comprehensive library is open to all students during school hours. The Dr. Irene H. Brodie Tutoring Center (Room B260) also offers IELP students free tutoring daily.

Many social activities are planned during the semester, providing a fun and supportive learning environment. The college's International Friendship Association helps students meet new friends from the United States and around the world.
