Basic Education Vocational Program
These noncredit, free classes are designed as a
bridge program for students who are not interested in an Associate in Arts or
Science degree, but who want to improve their skills in order to enter into a
certificate program or improve their skills to enter the workforce. Current
offerings include:
GE1-030—ASE Job Skills I
ABE Vocational Math
Using workplace applications, this course covers basic math, including the
following:

Functions of whole numbers
- Percents
- Fractions
- Decimals
- Measurement
- Basic Geometry
- Basic Algebra
AB1-030—ABE Job Skills
I
ABE Language for the Workplace
This class covers basic grammar, and sentence structure, using applications such
as resume writing, cover letter writing, memo writing, and more.
