use of information technology and the extent to which technology is
used to support learning-centered activities.

Colleges will use information technology to enhance a sense
of community by creating programs that encourage collaboration and
connectivity for students, faculty, and staff.

Colleges will create and expand opportunities for
asynchronous learning through information technology.
3-D.
Colleges will use information technology to improve and
expand their services to students in such areas as admissions,
advising, financial aid, orientation, registration, assessment,
placement, and progress monitoring.
3-E.
Colleges will experiment with technology-enhanced stand-alone
options for learning that can be utilized by students with no
assistance from college staff.
