This
Articulation Agreement is made between Institute of Technology, Tralee
(hereafter referred to as ITT) at Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland and Moraine Valley
Community College at 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, IL 60465-0937, USA.
This
2 + 2 Agreement between Moraine Valley and ITT is designed to allow students earning an
Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.), Associate in Science (A.S.) or Associate
of Arts (A.A.) with a major concentration in business at Moraine Valley to complete a
corresponding Bachelor of Business (honors - level 8) degree at ITT.
The
two institutions agree to the following:
- Any
student who completes an Associate in Science/Arts degree with a business
transfer major emphasis or an Associate in Applied Science in Business
Administration, Marketing and Management, or Human Resources Management and
submits application and supporting documentation will automatically be admitted
into the Bachelor of Business at ITT.
- All
credit from an Associate in Applied Science/Arts or Associate in
Science/Arts degree obtained at Moraine Valley will transfer to ITT as a “block,”
meaning that all degree-related courses will automatically transfer for
majors in the programs listed under #1 above.

Students from Moraine
Valley who have a
cumulative GPA of 2.75 will be granted an American student scholarship of
1,000 Euro per year.

Appropriate publications and
promotional materials regarding this agreement will be made available to all
Moraine Valley students.

This Agreement may be amended
and supplemented in writing at any time as decided and agreed by mutual
written consent of ITT and Moraine Valley.

The Institute of Technology
Tralee and Moraine Valley Community College will agree to an intake of
students on an annual basis.

This Agreement shall commence
on the date of its execution by ITT and Moraine Valley and shall remain in force for a
period of two years. Either ITT or Moraine Valley may terminate this Agreement by
written notification to the other institution of its desire to terminate.
The termination of the Agreement shall not affect the implementation of the
programs established under it prior to such termination. This Agreement can
be extended by agreement of both institutions.
