In addition to the curriculum indicated above, students must meet the graduation requirements as
indicated in the Moraine Valley Community College catalog.


Bridge Courses

In addition to the courses listed above, students wishing to transfer to Chicago State University to
pursue the Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation may complete an additional 2 semester hours
selected from the following prior to admission to CSU:

Students may also waive PE/REC 236 at Chicago State University if they have a current
Water Safety Instructor Card from ARC or a Lifeguard Certificate. Students may also
waive HS 157 if they have a current CPR card.

NOTE: No more than a total of 66 semester hours will be accepted in transfer to CSU.
Students should apply to Chicago State University approximately one year in advance of
the term of intended admission.
