Welcome

The Student Support Services (SSS) program at Moraine Valley Community College is one of the TRIO educational opportunity programs established by the United States Department of Education.

It is specifically designed to help first-generation, low-income and disabled students with academic needs succeed in college.

SSS provides the tools to stay in college, as well as personal development and academic support.    

The goal of the program is to help students graduate from Moraine Valley and transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor's (four-year) degree.

If you qualify for the program you will be provided:

  • Academic and personal support
  • Financial assistance/scholarship search
  • Tutoring and study groups
  • Tours to colleges and universities
  • Workshops
  • Cultural activities and events
  • Computer technology assistance

Fri. 8a.m.-Noon
Hours vary when classes are not in session. Call for information.
