Code of Student Conduct

II. Judicial Authority

  1. The assistant dean of Student Life and Judicial Affairs or designee will determine the composition of judicial bodies and appeal boards, and determine which judicial body, judicial advisor and appeal board will be authorized to hear each case.
  2. The assistant dean of Student Life and Judicial Affairs or designee will develop procedures for the administration of the judicial program and rules for the conduct of hearings that are not inconsistent with provisions of the Code of Student Conduct.
  3. Decisions made by the judicial body and/or judicial advisor will be final, pending the normal appeal process.
  4. A judicial body may be designated as arbiter/mediator of disputes within the student community in cases that do not involve a violation of this code. All parties must agree to arbitration/mediation and to be bound by the decision with no right to appeal.
