Computer Labs

Moraine Valley Community College offers several computer labs around campus that students and/or community residents may use to do homework, surf the Web and more.

Wireless Access is available in these locations:

• In or near Cafe Moraine (Building C)
• In or near the CyberCafe (Building D)
• Near Espresso Love (Building L)
• In the Library
• The Fogelson Theater and lobby area (Building T)
• The theater and lobby area (Building F)
• The main corridor areas of Buildings A, B and L

Building B—Computers and printer available in Room B271.

Center for Contemporary Technology—Located in T901J, this lab is open for student use. You must have a valid Moraine Valley student ID to use the computer lab.

CyberCafe—The CyberCafe can be found in Building D. Open to students and the community, it provides individuals with the opportunity to check e-mail, surf the Web and chat with friends. Additionally, there are open ports for people to plug in a laptop.

Library—Computers are available for community residents and students at the front of the library and downstairs in the library's quiet area. Printers are available. Laptop computers are available for use in the library. You must have a valid Moraine Valley ID to borrow a laptop computer. A Laptop Computer Loan Agreement must be completed for each check out. Cash cards to use the printers can be purchased in the library.

Student Life—Located in Room C160 in the College Center, these computers have Internet access, and are open for student use. You must have a valid Moraine Valley student ID to use these computers.

• Building A, first floor near Room A139
• Building A, second floor near entrance to Building G
• Building L, first floor adjacent to Disability Services Office in (Room L150)
• Building L, second floor near entrance to Building B
• Building B, first floor near Room B119, next to Room B125, across from Room B183, and next to entrance to Building L
• Building B, second floor across from Room B260
