Funded Projects
Securing grant funding involves
the coordination of several activities: planning; searching for
data and resources; writing, packaging, and submitting a
proposal; and continuously following-up with the funding
agency. Developing a fundable proposal takes time, persistence,
flexibility and creativity.
Each year a number of the
college’s faculty and staff continue to create and implement
grant-funded educational programs and services that benefit our
students. For a listing of the 2010-2011 MVCC awarded
grants, click
2010-2011
Grant Summary. A complete specific summary of each
awarded grant can be found following the Table of Contents. While the grant project directors are identified in
the summary, each award is a tribute to numerous faculty and
staff who contributed their time, effort and ideas. The grants
summarized reflect their successes and is an acknowledgement of
their initiative, persistence, and diligence. Many campus
offices (Accounting, College and Community Relations, Financial
Aid, Institutional Research and Planning, Marketing and Creative
Services, IT, Resource Development and others) play
indispensable supporting roles in developing, securing and
implementing grant proposals and awarded programs. We are
enormously proud of the accomplishments of all the personnel
involved that help to support the investment in the future of
Moraine Valley students.
