Appraisal Prelicensing
Appraisal pre-license courses are approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Courses have been revised to include criteria as established by the Illinois Real Estate Appraiser Act certification rules implemented there under by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. APPRAISAL STANDARDS AND ETHICS
Reviews standards of professional appraisal practice adopted by the Appraisal Foundation. Textbook required. Study guide optional. Prerequisite: Real Estate Appraisal (RE8-301) (1 AEC). Students are required to attend all sessions of class.

REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL
This basis for advanced courses introduces appraisal theory, concepts, techniques, and the level of competence required to perform professional appraisal analysis. Textbook required. Study guide optional. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (2 AEC)

RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY APPRAISAL
Designed to provide the understanding and working knowledge required to estimate the market value of properties. Covers extraction of data, depreciation and report writing. Textbook required. Study guide optional. Prerequisite: Real Estate Appraisal (RE8-301). Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (2 AEC)

Real Estate Sales and Brokerage Prelicensing
Real estate sales and broker courses are approved by the Office of Banks and Real Estate. Courses have been revised to include criteria as established by the Real Estate License Act of 2000 implemented by the Office of Banks and Real Estate, call (217) 785-9300 for details.

REAL ESTATE SALES TRANSACTIONS
Successful completion of course enables those 21 and over to take the AMP exam for Illinois real estate salesperson license. Textbook required. Study guide optional. Purchase textbook prior to first class and read chapters 1, 2, 3. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (Required salesperson course) (3 AEC)

BROKER ADMINISTRATION
Covers real estate brokerage, escrow, business accounting, maintaining records, agency and license law. Required broker course. Textbook required. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (1 AEC)

ADVANCED REAL ESTATE PRINCIPLES
Review current real estate regulations and license law. Required broker course. Textbook required. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (1 AEC)

REAL ESTATE LAW
Covers deeds, fixtures, contracts, closing, land use, leases, and condominiums. Required broker course. Textbook required. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (1 AEC)

REAL ESTATE FINANCE
Covers management, contract sales, assumptions, collateral assignments, financing, and foreclosures. Optional broker course. Textbook required. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (1 AEC)

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Renting, leasing, rehabilitation, budgeting, marketing, and accounting are covered. Optional broker course. Textbook required. Students are required to attend all sessions of class. (1 AEC)

Real Estate Appraisal Continuing Education
NATIONAL USPAP REVIEW
A review of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Seven hours of appraisal continuing education will be awarded with course completion. Textbooks are included in class fee.

FOUNDATIONS REVIEW
A review of the foundations and principles of residential real estate appraisal. Seven hours of appraisal continuing education will be awarded with course completion. Each student must bring a calculator.

MARKET ABSTRACTION REVIEW
A review of methods. Work problems to determine market value. Covers extraction of data, depreciation and report writing. Seven hours of appraisal continuing education will be awarded with course completion. Each student must bring a calculator.

UNIFORM RESIDENTIAL APPRAISAL REPORT (URAR)
Provides the appraiser with information on both URAR changes and a line-by-line examination and increased working knowledge of the URAR form. Seven hours of appraisal continuing education will be awarded with course completion. Each student must bring a calculator.

RELOCATION APPRAISING AND FORECASTING
Provides the appraiser with a general understanding of the principles of relocation appraising and forecasting. Key concepts include an explanation of the differences between retrospective, current and prospective valuations. Discussion of analyzing supply and demand factors in estimating the absorption time. Application of current labels for an ERC Appraisal between a "Complete" and a "Limited" and "Summary" versus "Restricted" with appropriate USPAP references. Seven hours of appraisal continuing education will be awarded with course completion. Textbook required. Please purchase textbook in the college bookstore prior to the first class session.

THE APPRAISAL AND THE MORTGAGE INDUSTRY
Designed to provide the professional appraiser with an understanding of the lending industry and how an appraisal is used. Understanding the varying people who read and use an appraisal. Seven hours of appraisal continuing education will be awarded with course completion.
