Physical Education and Health—Admissions and Transfer Information

Admissions Information
Moraine Valley Community College is a comprehensive, full-service community college with an open door admission policy for high school graduates or others qualified to enter. Admission is available to individuals 18 years or older who are high school graduates or GED recipients.

Transfer Information
Please note that we do not offer a degree or certificate in physical education. The classes can be transferred to a four-year institution for those students wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree. Be sure to contact an academic advisor to review your options. You may also visit the following Web site for additional transfer information www.iTransfer.org

In addition to the Illinois Articulation Initiative and the compact agreements, Moraine Valley has articulation agreements with selected colleges and universities to provide students the opportunity to obtain bachelor's degrees in technical and other specific fields. Under these agreements, Moraine Valley graduates who have earned Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees in specific career program or A.A. or A.S. degrees with specific course work can transfer to the cooperating four-year institutions to complete the bachelor's degree. Students can check the specifics on each agreement with the Academic Advising Center (S202 of the Student Services Center, or (708) 974-5721).

For information about transferring courses to Moraine Valley, currently enrolled students should contact the Academic Advising Center in the Student Services Center, 2nd Floor, (708) 974-5721.
