Criminal Justice—Admission
Requirements
There are no prerequisites for enrollment in Moraine Valley's Criminal Justice Program. You may register in either the fall, spring or summer semesters.
When you register, please mention that you are in the 1260 (Criminal Justice)
curriculum. This will enable us to contact you regarding program
activities. The level of education necessary for jobs in the criminal justice system varies by jurisdiction, though a strong academic background is helpful to public service career applicants. Some law enforcement agencies require candidates to have completed 62 credit hours or have obtained an Associate in Arts (A.A.)/Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree, both of which you can attain at Moraine Valley. Training is specifically conducted by each
agency.
