The Alpha Iota Lambda Chapter of Phi Theta
Kappa International Honor Society is proud to represent our society’s
ideals at Moraine Valley Community College. In addition to being
recognized for their academic accomplishments, our chapter members have
the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, gain valuable
experience and get involved in our community. Through programs focused
on our hallmarks of scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship, our
members actively make a difference on our campus and in our surrounding
communities. |

Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society
Mission Statement
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among
two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa provides
opportunities for the development of leadership and service, an intellectual
climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, lively fellowship for scholars and
stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
Phi Theta Kappa is committed to the elimination
