Weather and Storm Responses
Moraine Valley Police department supports and trains departmental staff in the concepts of the National Weather Service Storm Ready principals. Each year we provide training and drills supporting the concepts of self-readiness. Students and staff should be aware Moraine Valley is a “Shelter in Place Facility” in severe weather situations. Please look though our web site and be aware of your safe evacuation / shelter places on campus along with our disabled person evacuation person policy.
Signs are posted on all shelter areas within the campus.
