offers many of the same college credit courses held on campus at local high
schools or other local facilities.
When
do Extension Center classes meet?
Extension courses are designed for individuals with busy lifestyles. Moraine Valley
offers
extension classes one or two nights a week, for 15 weeks, during the fall and
spring semesters.Most classes meet one evening, from 6-9 p.m. A few meet twice a week
for less time. Extension courses begin one or two weeks after the regular
on-campus semester starts.
The Moraine Valley Education Center at Blue Island
and the Southwest Education Center in Tinley Park offer daytime,
afternoon and evening classes.
