Job searchers are invited to Moraine Valley Community College to hear an insider’s perspective on how companies recruit, select and hire in today’s employment market. “An Insider’s View on Hiring” will be presented on Thursday, September 10, from 9 to 11 a.m., in the Fogelson Theater, Building T, on campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.
The event, hosted by the College’s Workforce Development and Community Services, will feature long-time corporate recruiter Sue Marines, of Marines Consulting, LLC (a Chatfield Group affiliate). She will cover topics such as how a recruiter receives and searches resumes submitted online, narrows candidate pools through resume review and phone interviews, and selects the candidates for further interviews and for hire.
