Looking to save money in the down economy while increasing productivity? Moraine Valley’s Walter O’Dowd, Lean consultant, along with Stephenie Presseller, sustainability coordinator, will demonstrate how Lean can be put into practice to reduce overhead, create a Lean office, and generate a green work environment. Based on the eight wastes of “Lean and Green” principles, specific examples will be given on how to reduce waste in the office. Studies have shown that there is an increase in process and employee productivity when “Lean and Green” principles are practiced.
