The Moraine Chorale and Chamber Singers will kick-off a five-concert season on Saturday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m., at Moraine Valley Community College in the Dorothy Menker Theater in the Fine and Performing Arts Center, 9000 W. College Pkwy., Palos Hills.
“Festive Folk Songs and Spirited Spirituals” will include performances of songs such as There is a Season, Angels Carry Me Home, Shenandoah, Oh! Susann, and He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother.
The Moraine Chorale, in its 12th season, is a community-based choir with more than 60 members. The Chamber Singers is an ensemble featuring Moraine Valley students. They will accompanied by a small chamber orchestra.
General admission tickets for each concert are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
