Moraine Valley Community College offers several telecourses in the fall 2009 semester. Telecourses offer flexibility and convenience by providing classes on video, allowing students to attend a limited number of class meetings, set up their own study hours and work at their own pace while earning college credit.
This fall’s telecourse offerings include American National Government, Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Psychology, General Sociology, and Life-Span Developmental Psychology.
Students enrolled in telecourses can check out videotapes or DVDs from the college library, as well as public libraries in Alsip, Blue Island, Bridgeview, Burbank, Calumet Park, Crestwood, Justice, Oak Lawn, Orland Park, and Robbins. For more information about telecourses, call the college’s Alternative Learning Department at (708) 974-5710. A complete listing of credit and noncredit classes can be found in the fall 2009 class schedule or online at morainevalley.edu. Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $87 per credit hour plus fees and books. Students who have applied to the college can register in person by visiting the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W. College Pkwy. in Palos Hills; by phone at (708) 974-2110 (TTY for the hearing impaired 708-974-9556); or online at morainevalley.edu.
