What is the
Integration Bee?
The Integration Bee is a mathematics competition for students who have studied Calculus II (MTH-151) or above. Integrals and integration techniques are used to determine measurements such as arc length, area under a curve, and the volume of solids. Engineers, architects, and physicists use these techniques, and apply to many aspects of daily living. Come and show your integration talent!
When will the Bee take place? Wednesday, March 30, 2011
from 5-7 p.m. in Building D, Room D236.
Who can participate? The Integration Bee is open to
students currently attending Moraine Valley Community College.
