Solution Manuals: Students
are not required to purchase a solutions manual for any math course. When purchasing a new text, a solutions manual may
come shrink-wrapped with it. Solutions manuals are also available in the
Library.
Online courses: For students
enrolled in online courses, additional information
along with the instructor’s e-mail address is available on the
online schedule.
Calculators: TI-83 or 84 calculators are
required for the following courses: MTH-139, 141, 142, 143, 145, 150, 151, 152, 201, 212. A scientific calculator is required for MTH-120. Several calculators are
on reserve in the library for two-hours or two-days. Also, you may ask your
instructor to contact the department Chairperson, at (708)
974-5233 or
madden@morainevalley.edu
to borrow a calculator for the semester. Calculator use in any course may be restricted on tests and on the final exam. In addition, other
calculators may be prohibited on tests and on the final exam.
