Employer Organizations
As an
employer, you have many opportunities to join organizations geared towards
assisting you in your employment and internship needs. These organizations are
geared toward those that work with interns.
Illinois
Cooperative Education and Internship Association (ILCEIA)
ILCEIA is an association of co-op/internship professionals and employers
involved with experiential education. The mission of the association is to
provide professional development and networking opportunities that will result
in expanded work-based learning opportunities for students. The association
meets annually for a spring drive-in conference and holds board meetings, open
to the general membership, throughout the year.
Membership
year for ILCEIA is from July 1-June 30
Membership dues are $25 for one person and $100 for up to five people from one
organization

Midwest
Cooperative Education and Internship Association (MCEIA)
The Midwest Cooperative Education and Internship Association is a non-profit
organization of employers, educators, and interested individuals and/or groups
from the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio,
and Wisconsin which seeks to:

Promote
an understanding of the significance and value of cooperative education,
internships, and other experiential learning;

Strengthen the functioning of cooperative education, internships, and other
experiential learning; and,

Provide
a source of information about cooperative education, internships, and other
experiential learning to all interested persons.
Membership
Year is from January 1-December 31
Annual dues are $50 per membership year, per person

Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA)
The Cooperative Education and Internship Association, the leader in
work-integrated learning, provides a supportive member-driven learning community
for participating programs, students, educators and employers; influences policy
makers and leaders of thought; and forges partnerships with like-minded groups.

Annual dues are $150 per membership year, per person
