Policies
Moraine Valley Community College prohibits any employer from using on-campus recruitment facilities to promote or sell their products.
In addition, all literature pertaining to the organization must not be placed anywhere on campus without the approval of JRC staff.
All such literature must be removed from the area at the conclusion of the employer's recruiting visit.
The JRC requests that all employers complete and return the
survey form, indicating the number of inquiries and applications received.
Additionally, employers are required to disclose the individuals hired.
To ensure timely advertising, it is necessary for employers
to schedule recruitment dates at least two weeks prior to the
recruiting visit. On-campus recruitment dates must be confirmed
prior to this in order to be included in the following week's
Job and Internship Report.
Employers must make every attempt to hold the recruiting sessions on scheduled date and time.
If other circumstances prevent the employer from being represented on campus, it is necessary for the employer to notify the
JRC at least one business day prior to the scheduled date or as soon as possible. Employers with more than one unexplained absence will only
be given consideration for additional recruiting dates based on circumstances and availability.
Discrimination on any basis is prohibited. The employer agrees not to discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, creed, color,
disability, national origin, sex, political or religious affiliation.
The Moraine Valley Community College Job Resource Center reserves the right to restrict any employer suspected of acting outside the students'
and/or applicants' best interests from recruiting on-campus.
The employer certifies that the information provided is true to the best of his/her knowledge.
The employer is aware that on-campus recruitment privileges are subject to immediate termination if any employer
information is found to be fraudulent.
