Services for Alumni

Alumni are defined as those who have received a certification and/or a degree from Moraine Valley Community College. As Moraine Valley alumni, we encourage you to utilize our services. Our staff is available to meet with you individually to assist you with your resume and cover letter, discuss interviewing strategies and offer resources to help with your job search process. Alumni are entitled to two individual appointments within an academic year.

• College Central Network—This service is an Internet-based job listing service sponsored by 12 local community colleges. You may review jobs and post your resume for employers to view. Review career-related resources, learn about upcoming events and stay connected with the Job Resource Center with your own homepage.
• You must create a log-in to access this database and activate your account.

• One-to-One Appointments—A Job Resource specialist is available to answer your questions on job search techniques, critique resumes, or provide follow-up to any of the JRC workshops. Assistance is available by appointment. Call (708) 974-5737 to arrange an appointment. Alumni and graduates are entitled to two individual appointments within an academic school year.
