The Moraine Valley Internship
Program provides an opportunity for current Moraine Valley students to pursue a
supervised short-term, hands-on internship for a summer or semester averaging 200
hours total.

Steps to
pursue an internship
- Create a resume and cover letter (JPC can offer
assistance in this)
- Review
Job and Internship Report for available internships
- Schedule an appointment with Internships Manager to discuss specific
internships (bring resume and cover letter)
- Apply directly to company offering internship
- Interview directly with company offering internship
- Accept offer of internship from company
- Inform Internships Manager and Faculty of decision
Eligibility for internship
- Current Moraine Valley student status
- Completed one academic college semester
- Be in good academic and student standing

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2008 Moraine Valley Community College
“Internship Employer of the Year” Award.
Eligibility:

Moraine Valley Community
College employer who hosted or is in process of hosting a MVCC Intern
between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008

Completed
nomination packet including nomination letter.

Internship Employer may be
nominated by an student and/or a faculty member
