The college recruits mainly by listing vacancies on the Web site, where applicants can read detailed job postings and apply for the position of their choice. The college also advertises its positions in local metropolitan newspapers (Chicago Tribune, the Daily Southtown/Star), local community newspapers (Chicago Defender, LaRaza), national publications (The Chronicle of Higher Education, Diverse Issues in Higher Education), and employment Web sites (CareerBuilder.com, HigherEdJobs.com, InsideHigherEd.com), just to name a few. Moraine Valley also recruits applicants by attending job fairs.
