Steps to Receiving Aid

Apply via the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov  or download a PDF version of the application at www.fsa.ed.gov, complete it, and mail it to the Central Processing System directly. Financial aid is given on a year-by-year basis so you need to reapply each year.

If Moraine Valley Community College was one of your school choices on the FAFSA, you will receive a letter or email from the Financial Aid Office in approximately two weeks from time of application.  The letter and/or email will include instruction regarding what other documentation is needed.

Remember, to receive financial aid, you must maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average (GPA) or better and earn credit in at least 67 percent of the cumulative hours attempted.  Read the specific information regarding the academic standards of progress for financial aid recipients.
