Child’s Play Touring Theatre Presents
Animal Tales and Dinosaur Scales

School performances: Dec. 8-9 and Dec. 12-18, 2009, 10 a.m.
$5 per student; one adult free for every 20 students
Public performance: Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, 11 a.m.
$6 children; $8 adult
Dorothy Menker Theater
From Bambi to the Big Bad Wolf, children's literature is full of delightful animal characters. This fun-filled theater and music presentation offers a unique twist—all of the stories are written by children and brought to life by Child’s Play Touring Theatre.


The Diary of Anne Frank

By Frances Goodrich and Albert Hacket, adapted by Wendy Kesselman
School performances: Feb. 2-5 and Feb. 8-12, 2010, 10 a.m.
$5 per student; one adult free for every 20 students
Public performance: Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, 11 a.m.
$6 children; $8 adult
Dorothy Menker Theater
In this gripping adaptation, newly discovered writings from the diary of Anne Frank, as well as survivor accounts, are interwoven to create a contemporary impassioned story of the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule. This is an adaptation for a new generation able to confront the true horrors of the Holocaust.


Professor Smart’s “Fun With Physics” Show
School performances: April 19-23, 2010, 10 a.m. daily
$5 per student; one adult free for every 20 students
Dorothy Menker Theater
The Fun with Physics Show will teach children about particle theory, laws of inertia, states of matter, and other concepts. Using a unique blend of comedy and science, Professor Smart will demonstrate these scientific theories by shrinking his head, creating rockets, and causing a teacher's hair to stand on end, among other scientific feats.
