Harvey
By Mary Chase
Directed by Dan Scott
Feb. 19-22

Harvey is Elwood P. Dowd’s best friend. There’s a slight problem, however; Harvey is a six-and-a-half
foot rabbit, who no one but Elwood can see. When Elwood insists upon introducing Harvey to his sister Veta’s
society friends, she has had enough. She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium to spare the family
further embarrassment. Her plans hit a snag, however, when the doctors decide to commit her. Mary Chase’s
Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy has delighted audiences for generations with its wise, gentle humor, both onstage
and in the charming 1950 film starring Jimmy Stewart.
