Overview
The Communication/Literature/Language department dedicates itself to improving the thinking, reading, writing, and speaking skills of our students to prepare them for full participation in a technologically advanced, multi-cultural world. While promoting the highest standards of academic integrity, our communications, literature, and foreign language classes challenge students to communicate effectively in both written and oral modes, to appreciate and critically analyze literary works, and to learn both their own and other peoples' languages and cultures. Though we value technology as a tool to enhance and facilitate the learning process, we believe that human interaction is a core value in education and remain committed to personal communication between instructors and students.
