Debra's combined expertise in postsecondary education from Prairie State College, Governors State University and Northwestern University, and community outreach programming at Learning in Context in Ford Heights, allow her to lead Moraine Valley's ETS team and participants toward success. She earned her B.S. in business administration from Aquinas College and her M.A. in educational administration from Governors State University.

Nyree D. Ford

Nyree D. Ford works as an Educational Outreach
Specialist with ETS. Prior to her current position, she worked for Governors
State University as a Program Coordinator for the Learning in Context
Partnership program (a community outreach program for Ford Heights
residents). She has experience working with at-risk students, mentoring, and
academic advising. Aside from a B.A. in Social Science, Nyree has also
earned her M.P.A. in Public Administration from Governors State University.

Dean Shababa Townsend works as an Educational Outreach Specialist with ETS.
He brings a wealth of experience from working with at-risk students from
south central Los Angeles to the southside of Chicago. He has worked as a
teacher, counselor, coordinator and facilitator of various community and
public school based programs. This former Upward Bound student has a B.A. in
psychology and is completing work on his M.A. in counseling psychology at
Governors State University.
