Nomination Rules
Individuals or businesses can be nominated for as many award categories as they qualify for, but they can only win one category.

Submit a nomination form along with a brief description of the business or individual that you are nominating to schrimplee@morainevalley.edu. or mail your nomination to Moraine Valley Community College/EDCSS, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, IL 60465.

Nominate a business or individual who demonstrates strengths in the following areas:

Training and Development—To recognize and reward businesses that make a significant investment in their workforce by encouraging life long learning of their employees.

Sustainability—Businesses committed to reducing their ecological footprint through the incorporation of environmentally sustainable practices.


Excellence in Government—A leader that demonstrates the foresight to create a healthy community through planning, economic development, leadership and evidence of contributions made to the community.

Philanthropy—To recognize the outstanding philanthropic contributions made by businesses and/or individuals to benefit the cultural, educational, medical and social service agencies in our community.

Small Business and Entrepreneurial—Businesses that have demonstrated continued growth measured by either an increase in the number of employees, sales or volume.

Commitment to Diversity—A business, who supports, strengthens and enhances business and employment opportunities to support diversity.
