Nomination Rules
Individuals or businesses can be nominated for as many award categories as qualified, but can only win in one category.

Submit a nomination form along with a brief description of the business or individual you are nominating to

Nominate a business or individual who demonstrates strengths in the following categories:

Training and Development—businesses that make a significant investment in their workforce by encouraging lifelong learning of their employees.

Green Advocate—businesses committed to reducing their ecological footprint through the incorporation of environmentally sustainable practices.

Excellence in Government—a leader who demonstrates the foresight to create a healthy community through planning, economic development, leadership, and evidence of contributions made to the community.

Philanthropy—outstanding philanthropic contributions made by businesses and/or individuals to benefit the cultural, educational, medical, and social service agencies in the community.

Best Place to Work—businesses who are successful in defining the employees' experience and creating and maintaining workplace excellence. Categories for 1-25, 26-50, 50+ employees.

The nominee must be located or provide services in one of the following communities, or be a client of
Workforce Development and Community Services or Moraine Valley Community College.
