Supplies heating and cooling for A-B-D-L-G and the College Center

  • Heating capacity is 36,905,000 B.T.U.s per hour
  • Cooling capacity is 1500, tons of cooling
  • Heating and cooling is delivered by two direct-fired natural gas absorbers, with one stand by steam boiler.
    (One ton of refrigeration represents the rate of cooling produced when 1 ton of ice (2000 lbs.) melts during one 24-hour day)

Boiler Room #2 (Center for Contemporary Technology building)
Supplies cooling for the CCT and the Fine and Performing Arts Center and heating for the CCT building.

  • Heating capacity is 19,029,900 B.T.U.s per hour
  • Cooling capacity is 566 tons of cooling

  • Heating capacity is 6,660,000 B.T.U.s
