2007 and 2004 Palos Hills Community Beautification Award from Mayor Gerald Bennett
In recognition of Moraine Valley's valuable contributions and support for the beautification of the City of Palos Hills.

1998 Robert E. Turner Service Award: Jim Donaldson, custodian in Campus Operations, received the 1998 Turner Award for service excellence. The award identifies one college support staff member, recognized among his peers, as dedicated and committed to our goal of physical excellence.

1997 A.E.E. Award: The Midwest chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers presented the college with their Regional Award for Corporate Energy Management in recognition of the college's energy-saving measures.

1996 Robert E. Turner Service Award: Ray Catuara, maintenance supervisor in Campus Operations, received the Robert E. Turner Service Award, which is presented annually to a support staff member for outstanding service and dedication to the college.

1996 A.E.E. Award: The local Illiana Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers presented their Corporate Energy Management Award to Moraine Valley in recognition of the college's positive efforts made to promote the efficient use of energy.

1992 A.E.E. Award: Ron Kurfirst, former director of Campus Operations, now retired, received the Association of Energy Engineers' Energy Engineer of the Year Award for the efficient use of energy in our college buildings.

1990 Illinois Department of Energy and Natural Resources: Campus Operations received the Energy Management Award for achievement in reducing overall energy usage by 21.4 percent.
