EKG Interpretation
This 12-hour course is an introduction to EKG interpretation. Students will
learn how to set up and perform an EKG test, learn how to interpret sinus
rhythms, and identify irregularities. For nursing assistant, patient care
technicians, LPNs, and RNs who want to acquire basic information on EKGs.
12 Lead EKG
Prerequisite: Basic EKG Interpretation. For nurses who want to enhance their
basic EKG skills by learning to interpret the 12 lead EKG. Emphasis is on patho-physiology,
12 lead EKG characteristics and nursing implications. Textbook required and
available in MVCC bookstore.
