Coding Exams/Update
ICD-9-CM
Update
This workshop is primarily for experienced ICD-9-CM coders from hospitals,
ambulatory, primary care facilities and other health care settings. Participants
must be familiar with the ICD-9-CM coding system. However, the workshop may be a
good review for people interested in updating their coding knowledge. Workshop
includes review of new and revised ICD-9-CM codes, review classification and
current issues related to ICD-9-CM coding that impact diagnosis, group
assignments, etc.
CCS-P Exam Prep Class
This course is intended to help the experienced coding practitioner from outpatient, ambulatory or physician practice settings prepare to write the national "Certified Coding Specialist-Physician based" (CCS-P) certification examination. The course will provide the student with an opportunity to evaluate and strengthen their coding skills in preparation for the examination. - AND HCPCS CODE BOOK TO FIRST CLASS.
CCPT/HCPCS Update
This workshop is primarily for experienced coders from hospitals,
ambulatory, primary care facilities and other health care settings. Participants
must be familiar with the CPT/HCPCS coding system however, the workshop may be a
good review for people interested in updating their coding knowledge to review
new or revised codes that were effective 2005, current issues related to coding;
impact on APC group assignments and medical necessity requirements for
outpatient and physician coding.
