Central Sterilization Technician
Central Sterilization Technician
Responsibilities of Central Sterilization Technician include proper
handling, cleaning, assembly, function testing, packaging and sterilization of
hundreds of different surgical instruments. Topics will include microbiology, infection
control, and aseptic technique relate to the work of Sterile Processing. They
may work for a hospital, free standing surgical center or in a physician's or
dental surgeon's office. Whether you're a new student or a working Central
Processing Technician, join us this fall for a full semester of theory and clinicals at a local area hospital. This course will help students work toward

(Course prerequisites require high school diploma, or GED, and placement in
reading at 091. Full immunization is also mandated. Please call for an
