Mentoring Programs
One of the NSF objectives is to implement strategies to increase female enrollment and retention in the CAD programs. To address that objective Moraine Valley Community College developed a dual Mentoring Program to attain the following goals:

  • Develop a supportive environment for women students by assigning mentors from fellow students, faculty, and industry professionals in CAD fields.
  • Provide guidance to students through the mentors who are serving as role models both in academic and professional issues.
  • Provide career networking opportunities.

Big Sister Peer Mentoring Program
This program provides student to student support and guidance.

Corporate Mentoring Program
This program provides industry professional to student guidance and support.
