Recently, Moraine Valley hosted the Autodesk Regional Meeting for the Central Region. The two-day event consisted of an AutoCAD 2004 Update Technical class taught by J.C. Malitzke, Department Chair of Computer Integrated Technologies and the Authorized Training Center Managers Meeting the following day. As part of the meeting several awards were handed out. These awards were based on the entire North American channel and consisted of:
Moraine Valley is pleased to announce that they were the recipients of the Instructional Quality Award, the Outstanding Performance Award, and the Facilities and Staff Award for their region. Autodesk pulled the top 10 from each category and also took into considered the overall satisfaction of the students from the student evaluations. The awards were handed out over five different regions (eastern, central, western, southern, and the Canadian region). Also, J.C. Malitzke won the Individual Instructor Quality Award for his outstanding dedication to students in the classroom. Only 10 instructors were selected across North America for this particular award.
