The new building allows Moraine Valley Community College to:

Concentrate science
classes in a state-of-the-art building.

Provide the latest
in instructional technology.

Continue to meet the
growing needs for students in the health sciences.
The estimated project
budget for the building, including equipment, furnishings, and site
improvements, is approximately $22.5 million.
The Architect/Engineer
for the Moraine Business and Conference Center and the Science Hall is Teng &
Associates, Inc. of Chicago. Teng has enjoyed more than a 10-year relationship
with Moraine Valley Community College. The budget summaries for the two projects
are provided by IHC Construction Companies of Elgin. The Construction Manager
for all three projects is IHC. The programming
architecture is directed by DDA Demonica Delmura Associates, LLC. These new facilities are
being completed as part of the $89 million referendum passed in the spring of
2006.
