Commencement
ceremony
The
2009 Commencement is Friday at 7 p.m., in
the Cyclone Center (Building G). Students
who have petitioned to graduate are eligible
to participate in the ceremony. Caps and
gowns can be purchased in the Bookstore until the ceremony. Visit the

Project Graduation feeds the hungry
Phi Theta Kappa is asking all graduates and
their families to bring a non-perishable
food item to the graduation ceremony on
Friday to support Project Graduation, a food
drive to benefit Worth Township. Collection
boxes will be located along the south end of
Building A.
College Bowl 'bowls' over competition
Congratulations to the College Bowl team for
winning first place in the state
championship, which was hosted at Moraine
Valley on April 24. The team went 5-0 and
scored 835 points. This is the team's first
championship.

Sell back your used textbooks for cash in
four locations. A photo ID is required. The
book buyback schedule is as follows:

Telluride, CO. The cost is $1,179 for
students and includes airfare, lodging, and

bean bags during Spring Fest on April 22.

Softball just
misses nationals
The women’s
softball team ended its season with a second
place trophy in the NJCAA Region IV
tournament on May 2. They were one team away
from a trip to the national championship.
The Cyclones went 13-4 in their last 17
games and finished the season with an 8-4
conference record and 17-13 overall season
record. |
