Thanksgiving holiday break
Moraine Valley will be closed Wednesday
through Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving
holiday. Spring semester registration and
orientation begin, Monday, Nov. 30.
Study Biology on the Coral Reef
A field biology course—Bio 220, emphasizing
marine biology, is being offered in June,
and includes an adventure to Belize, an
exotic country in Central America with the
world's second largest barrier reef. Snorkel
diverse coral reefs, track exotic fish,
corals and all sorts of different creatures,
journey to island field stations and
protected marine reserves, see jaguars in a
tropical rain forest, enjoy Caribbean
cuisine, and meet local Belizeans. The
course will be held on campus June 14-18 and
30, and July 7, and in Belize June 21-27.

All shows start at 7:30 p.m.
in the Dorothy Menker Theater and cost is
$12 adults, $10 students and seniors, unless
otherwise noted.

(Eid al-Adha)? A short presentation about
the significance of the holiday and some
Middle Eastern sweets then have your name
printed in Arabic calligraphy to take home.

Fogelson Theater
Dr. Michael David, of the University of
Chicago Department of Medicine's Section of
Infectious Disease, will speak on global
pandemics.
