Gloria Coughlin returns to the Cyclones for the 2007 season after returning to Moraine Valley as a coach in 2003, and resuming her head coaching position for the 2004 campaign. Coughlin was head coach of Moraine Valley's women's volleyball team for 11 years (1988-99), posting a 232-177 career record. She also coached the college's men's volleyball team for four years (1997-2000), compiling a 58-12 record and leading the team to Midwest Collegiate Volleyball Association league championships in 1998 and 1999. Coughlin, the academic advisor for the Cyclones Athletics program, is on the coaching staff of the Celtic Force Volleyball Club, and is head coach of the Marian Catholic High School boys volleyball team. She also provides lessons at the Palos Courts Sports Facility in Palos Hills. Coughlin, who played collegiate volleyball at Michigan State University, has a bachelor's degree from Governor's State University.
