Men's
Soccer--Coaches
Chuck Bales, named 2000 Coach of the Year in both the
Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference and NJCAA Region IV, has been the head
coach of Moraine Valley's men's soccer team since 2000. Bales was previously the team's assistant coach for four years.
He also is the NJCAA Region IV men's soccer representative.
Bales
has been involved in soccer for more than 25 years as player and coach. He has
an advanced national coaching diploma from the National Soccer Coaching
Association of America, and is
a Certified Periodization Planning Specialist through the Tudor Bompa Training
Systems, working towards completion of a Sports Conditioning
Specialist certificate through the International Sports Sciences Association.
Bales,
an assistant professor/program coordinator of Mechanical Design Drafting
Technology/CAD at Moraine Valley, has a master's degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of
Florida.
