Bill Finn has been Moraine Valley's athletics director since 1983. As the head coach of the college's men's basketball team for 22 years, he tallied a 506-210 career record and enjoyed twenty 20-plus win seasons. He also led his teams to the National Junior College Athletic Association's Division II national tournament four times, finishing in the final four in 1990 and 1999 and in the elite 8 in 2001 and 2002. 

Finn earned all-conference honors while playing basketball for Richards High School. He was also team captain for two years at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he earned National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics all-district honors. 

Finn has a bachelor's degree from Loras and a master's degree from Chicago State University.

Geoffrey Davis is now in his 10th year with the Moraine Valley Athletics Department.

Before coming to the college, Davis was an athletics trainer for the Illinois Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center, assigned to Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park.

Davis has a bachelor's degree from Southwest Missouri State University.

Gloria Coughlin is the academic advisor for the Cyclones Athletics program. 

Coughlin, head coach of Moraine Valley's women's volleyball team from 1988-99, tallied a 232-177 career record. She returned to the Cyclones as an assistant coach in 2003, and resumed her head coaching position for the 2004 campaign, posting a 19-15 record.

She also coached the college's men's volleyball team for four years, compiling a 58-12 record and leading the team to Midwest Collegiate Volleyball Association league championships in 1998 and 1999. 

Coughlin, who played collegiate volleyball at Michigan State University, has a bachelor's degree from Governor's State University.

Mary Ann Lessner

Mary Ann Lessner has been the Athletics Department secretary for 21 years. 

Lessner, a volleyball player in high school, once coached grade school volleyball at Our Lady of the Ridge in Chicago Ridge. 

She has always had a love of sports, and loves working with the Cyclones coaching staff as well as the student athletes she encounters each day.

Nickie Pacetti joined the Athletics Department staff in February 2006. Previously, she worked with various school and community organizations, including the Education Foundation of Oak Lawn and Hometown School District #123.

Pacetti earned an associate’s degree from Moraine Valley Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.

Maura Vizza joined Moraine Valley's College and Community Relations staff in March 2008. She also serves as the college's sports information contact.

Vizza worked as a reporter and a college rowing coach before coming to Moraine.

Vizza earned an associate’s degree from Moraine Valley, where she played softball, and a bachelor’s degree from Drake University, where she was on the rowing team.
