Moraine Valley's Music Program offers an array of courses and experiences for students with a passion for music. Classes and private lessons are taught in state-of-the-art classrooms and studios, including a piano lab with computers for music theory and piano classes.
The faculty in the Music Department includes professional musicians throughout the Chicago area. Many faculty members, in addition to teaching at Moraine Valley, currently perform in professional ensembles and organizations. Our faculty members have performed across the United States and Europe, and in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony Center, and college and university recital halls.
