PSC-110-402 is a Telecourse. Students will be working primarily on their own, but will meet as a class with the instructor 5 times during the semester. Course includes thought provoking and entertaining tapes that are supplemented with a study guide and textbook. Exams will be administered in the Testing Center. To succeed in a Telecourse, a student must be self disciplined and motivated, with excellent time management skills and a willingness to work independently. E-mail the instructor for further information.

Viewing Tapes: The telecourse Voices in Democracy consists of twenty-six, twenty-five minute programs.  Sets of videotapes are located in the Moraine Valley Community College LRC, and others are located at local public libraries: Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library, Blue Island Public Library, Bridgeview Public Library, Justice Public Library, Orland Park Public Library, and Prairie Trail Public Library.  The series may also be rented from actmedia@act.org  or at 1-800-745-5480. The approximate cost for rental is $50.00 for the set.

Meeting dates: 9/4, 9/18, 10/23, 11/20, 12/11, 12/18 at Moraine Valley Education Center at Blue Island.
Attend the first meeting Thursday, September 4, 7-8:50 p.m.
at Moraine Valley Education Center at Blue Island.  If you cannot attend this session, contact you instructor as soon as possible.
